The Stand Up Comedy Showcase Showdown
So I decided to start producing a showcase where I live in the Willamette Valley. We have a monthly showcase at Ricochet Wine Company's production space and tasting room, Beginning November 29, 2025 I am producing a special live-filmed comedy showcase featuring four prior monthly showcases throughout the year. The winner will be automatically eligible to compete in an Annual Grand Champion's Showdown next Fall/Winter 2026.
I am definitely not doing this for the money. I break even if I am lucky but I am trying to create a show that highlights the very best of the PNW Comedy Scene. These can be veteran comics, up and coming comedians, and the occasional stretch comedian.

We have a lot of fun. Comics earn a good wage for their work and a chance to win a little extra scratch while doing what they love and are really talented at, making a room full of strangers laugh.

Regular Admission the week of the show is $50 for non-reserved seating, if available. $75 for front-row reserved seating.
We book only the best talent in the PNW.
This show includes:
Host: Dennis Cruise - Creator and producer of Black Bag Comedy who has hosted more mics and showcases than anyone else I know in the PDX comedy scene and was the points leader of the former Misfit PDX's Oregonion Open Mic at a local dive bar.

Stand Up Comedy Showcase Showdown
The Showdown is part game show, part stand-up contest—where four comedians go head-to-head for the title of best set. Winners of the monthly showcases across the Willamette Valley earn a berth to compete for a Grand Prize of $250 at one of our multi-annual Winners' Showcases!

The Showcase is part comedy competition and variety/game show. The audience plays games like *It's Not Plinko, Dance Your Face Off!, The Cat-Walkoff, and more!

The comedians range from a year in comedy to veteran status but all are funny and curated by the producer based on seeing them perform live. I want this show to be a place where comedians can challenge themselves and others to make everyone better. In addition, all comedians earn a guaranteed minimum before prizes because it is hard work generating material.
